Shure Brazil

One of the most famous and traditional manufacturers of the microphones and sound equipment in the world, Shure Incorporated, is opening its headquarters in São Paulo and Giner and its engineering team were responsible for the development of the insulation and acoustic conditioning project for the technical rooms, with architectural project by Perkins + Will.

The rooms, for demonstration of the various equipment and systems of Shure, for the musical, pro audio and fixed installations market will be intensively used.

The new offices are in a commercial building, which was not adapted to receive rooms where elevated levels of sound (sound pressure) will be generated.

A careful isolation project, using the “Box in Box” technique, was developed so that the demonstrations of the sound equipment are not transmitted by air and structural means.

New elastomer pads and dry composite construction system guarantee the necessary acoustic performance.

The acoustic conditioning of the demonstration rooms of the videoconferencing equipment and conference systems count with acoustic diffusers strategically located for greater naturalness and to provide some clarity of the voice.
